It seems about as reasonable as him be resurrected and rising up to heaven. Actually, it seems more reasonable, since it is something that I could theoretically do.

Yes. I heard the story, but you (or your friend) managed to make it sound even more ridiculous.

I heard he ran away & died in Kashmir.

There is actually some proof of this.

I wish I could cite references, (Since I lack knowledge in this "story" or whatever you wish to call it) but I can't...

I believe Jesus' name was written in this famous Check-in book. Near some buddhist temple, or whatever.

It's a book that kept record of people that have visted the place. Anyway. Jesus's name is written in that historical book, and it is around the date of his supposid crucifiction.
It has jesus' correct age, sex, & name.

If you wish to know more information, look into it.
I personally don't care one way or another, as there is no evidence of a "resurection" to begin with.

I mean, in the movie his body doesn't turn up.
So what.
Grave robbers?
Oh. There was "no time" to rob the body...
Or maybe the body was "heavily" guarded" >_>
Whatever...Is that all the proof there is?
Plenty of bodys have never turned up since 9/11.
I suppose they all ressurected & went to heaven as well.

Oh, well, if it was your atheist acquaintance, then I guess that must be the truth.

Now I feel silly. Imagine, I believed what folks said who lived with Jesus and were willing to be tortured to death without denouncing him. What evidence is that compared with your atheist friend's opinion?
