Hehe, I am not my brain.
This body is WHAT I am IN, not WHO I am.
I am ME with or without it.
Took me a couple years to figure out what other people think about my out of body experience doesn't change what I know happened. It is more fun to meet people who believe or have had their own experiences.
Quickest way I know to describe it:
It was like going HOME after being gone so long I'd forgotten I left, but God didn't forget me! The LOVE is beyond words.
And yeah, there's a "light"...... so bright, I thought, "Wow if I was looking at this with my eyes, they'd burn clear thru my head!"
I asked before I came back into this body, how would I find my way back? God "said" I didn't need to know how to get back because God all ways knows where I am.
God knew EVERYTHING about me...... and totally loves me anyway!
God IS Love, so it is impossible not to BE loved, but Free Will allows us to choose if we believe that or not.
Blessings!

I was under anesthesia for a surgery and I lost my heart rate and stopped breathing---however, the ansethesia had worn off. In my mind's eye I saw an incredibly bright, white light ..I felt like I was floating.
When I woke up I was surrounded by all sorts of doctors and I just felt relaxed not scared. I didn't know what happened until my mom told me that my heart had stopped.
That's pretty much close to a near death experience.

I think it is all a crock of crap...that people see and hear weird things. Because that was not my experience at all. And I have a friend who did not have that experience in a near-death situation either. I actually DID die and I did not see light or hear things that were out of the ordinary. Right up until the moment when my heart stopped, I heard what was going on around me (in the hospital room), but apparently appeared to be unconscious. And then, it was quiet, black, and peaceful. That was all. They restarted my heart and I did not wake up for a couple days. Nothing else. No dreams, no nothing. But I was not scared...and I was not cold. I remember right before I died I was really cold and then I wasn't. But that was all.

I didn't have a near-death experience but I did have an experience where I felt like I was dying.
I had a panic attack at work. It just came to me all of a sudden on my lunch break; I felt dizzy, nauseated, and I had tingly sensations in my hands and feet. At first I thought it was serious so I went to the hospital. That's when they told me that I experienced a panic attack.

I almost drowned when I was kid. I was playing around swimming and I went under the water and there was a HUGE raft thingy above me and I couldn't get up to the air. I was like motionless and gasping. Then my sister grabbed me.
