the majority of Christians world-wide support C
it's a very distinct, very small, very American, and unfortunately very vocal minority that has a problem with natural history

Dinosaurs lived with man and I'm sure most died in the flood. There is some great descriptions of a dinosaur (Behemoth) in the book of Job (although they wasn't called dinosaurs until the 1800's). The Catholic version of the Bible has 2 extra chapters in the book of Daniel that also describes dinosaurs. For a 3 hour presentation packed with evidence of dinosaurs (some still existing today), see "dinosaurs and the bible" available at http://drdino.com

Asking for the Christian "consensus" on dinosaurs is like asking for the atheistic "consensus" on the beginning of the universe. God didn't spell it out in the Bible, and we do not know. I personally think that, of your options, D. sounds the most reasonable. And, although some fossils have been proved to be hoaxes, I don't think they all are. And if Noah brought at least two of every kind of animal, then why would dinosaurs die in the flood? But that's just my opinion. If you want to know the Catholic answer, say, you could ask the pope, or of one particular church, the pastor could tell you. But asking for the Christian "consensus" is ridiculous.

I believe dinosaurs existed but that modern concepts of what they looked like and what they ate is twisted by imagination and Evolutionism. The earth, of course, is only about 6,000 years old. ;-)
I believe dinosaurs may have even survived the Flood (i.e., taken on Noah's Ark as barely adolescent). Or, they may have been wicked man's amalgamations (the Book of Jasher implies this) and, therefore, weren't taken onto Noah's Ark. If they survived the Flood, then it is most likely that they died out because of atmospheric changes made as a result of the Flood or because man fancied himself a mighty hunter.
Gen. 10:8 And Cush begot Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
Gen. 10:9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.

Dinosaurs definitly existed. They were on the ark. Mankind probobaly killed them off. Up till around the mid 1800s, there wasn't even a word dinosaur. They were called dragons. Dragon stood for giant terrible lizard. Yes there is extensive research on drdino.com. Just take the time to check it out

Dinosaurs existed . . . God made them . . . there is no explaining how an explosion of new life suddenly appears on earth shortly after the extinction of life at the "end of the dinosaurs era" . . . other than . . . God wanted more life all over the planet fully developed . . . the fossil record is full of these weird "dying and then explosion of life" cycles - with no connection or evolution . . . not one fossil showing an intermediate lifeform . . .

Thank you for this question- So If D. is what they believe does that make any of you Christians feel bad that God picked out Dinosaurs to create first? Do you think there is a Dino heaven?? What a load of crap- you guys seriously think that Dinosaurs were put here to test your faith as well.... I feel sorry for people who need to believe a lie in order to feel complete.

Phoenix,
There is no Christian consensus on dinos; however here is the most plausible explanation I've heard so far (my Pastor told me this while we were speculating over a few whiskeys):
When God created the Earth there was perfect harmony and no death, not even among the animals. After the fall into sin of Adam and Eve the Book of Genesis tells us that all of creation turned against mankind. With the large carnivores had God not gotten rid of them they would have destroyed all mankind, and most of the other animals. Likewise with the large herbivores, they would have stripped the Earth of all vegetation. To ensure the survival of man, God had to get rid of them.
With regard to the dating of fossils: God, being all powerful (omnipotent) could indeed create everything in 6 days, less if He wanted to. In order to have the Earth habitable, it had to be created with the "appearance of age", otherwise it would have been a molten sphere, where nothing could survive.
Again, there is nothing in Scripture to support this theory, but there is nothing contradicting it either, but it sounds good to me. Regardless of what happened to them, their existence and demise has NOTHING to do with salvation. It is interesting to speculate though.
Your friend in Christ,
Mark.

Look, we know that if there are dinosaur bones, they probably existed. I wasn't around back then but seems to me, they were roaming around at some point.
God didn't tell Moses everything or anyone else for that matter.
Think about it. If God had told Moses in 3000 years, people will be flying around in metal (airplanes) hundreds of miles an hour or that we would drive in automobile...Moses wouldn't have understood.
God told him (Moses and the other writers of the Bible what he needed to tell us).
The Bible is for our Spiritual walk and getting to know God better.
Besides, God is the greatest Scientist...EVER!

e. It's all allegory in both covenants: Galatians 4. And it's all about comparison of Law and Grace, not about Dinosaurs.
Not to mention it's been the "made" part of created/made, the after part of the before/after shew, for over 2000 yrs now; And it's AD--> now. And <--BC is forever gone; Unless you'd like to draw back to perdition of the flood, and to all perish by law, as is noted by Paul in Colossians 2 and also by Peter in 2Peter 3. For Noah is listed in the hall of shame of Hebrews 11 notes these all died and received not the promise.
So we'll go with grace, by which none perish in the end.
May you make it to the end written, and alive unto God.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Genesis supports the concept of evolution. And God said "Let the earth bring forth the ..."
God created the dinosaurs too. The Bible doesn't mention them because they were already extinct and therefore irrelevant.
