Christians don't care what anyone has to say, so long as they don't make a movie that undermines their beliefs.

I happen to be a Jew who also believes that Yeshua was the Messiah. I didn't start out this way. At one time I was very active in my shul but as time progressed I came to find out that, while I don't agree with Christians on everything, they are correct about the Messiah.

But I DO care what they have to say.
A few weeks ago, I watched a debate between a Messianic Jew, and an Orthodox Jew on the meaning of Isaiah 53. I didn't listen to the Messianic Jew so much as the Orthodox Jew, simply because I already knew where I stood, and I wanted to hear the opposing side.
I don't know who won, but it sure was interesting!

It's the core of Christian belief that Christ is the son of God and our messiah. A Christian who believes Christ was just a prophet then must ignore his statements in the bible, or discredit them as coming from either a liar, or handicapped/confused/mistaken person.
At that point they'd probably convert. It all depends on your opinion and interpretation of the new testament.

The early Christian Church was Jewish, so it was their prophesy.
Some Jews followed Jesus, and others (the majority) chose to continue to follow the Jewish, religious establishment which had become corrupted by the religious hierarchy. The religious hierarchy rejected Jesus, because He did not fit their idea of the Messiah as a worldly king and military leader who would defeat their enemies. Jesus came as a spiritual Messiah who became a scapegoat (as prophesied) to bear the sins of all mankind, not just Jews.

Jews are the chosen people of God but in there unbelief it gave the rest a chance to be Gods people,, but one day , after Jesus takes his children in the rapture , God will once again turn back to the Jews, and 144 thousand jewish men that have never known a woman will preach of Jesus, and the gentiles time will be finished, because of there unbelief we gentile people have a chance, don't boast about our chance to be saved unless we to be cut off, but in faith there is neither Jew or greek but we all are
gods chosen people in faith in Jesus.

Well alot of the Jews aren't followers of the Bible.
and it's not only their prophecy.
its for Jews, AND Gentiles--which is everyone else but the Jews.
The Jews were just God's chosen people.

It wasnt your prophecy. If you believe in God, you believe that his prophets received their instruction and teaching from God. That in turn makes it God's prophecy, and no one "doctrine" or religion can claim it. God's word is for all of his believers.
