This question is mainly directed to the people who are decended from them, i.e. irish, scottish, english, spanish etc.
For many thousands of years the celts had their own views of the world before they were all forced to become christian.
There are many things wrong with christianity, like "sins" which are only natural feelings of a human, the age of the world, the way the church demanded money and control over the people, the list goes on...
science has taught us that we wouldnt be here without the earth, the sun and the moon, which the old religion used to acknowledge, as well as many other old religins around the world.

everyone is talking about saving the environment these days but if we had kept to the old religions we wouldnt have ****** it up in the 1st place due to our huge respect to nature and the nature spirits

in my view we are slowly returning to the old ways, of freedom and respect, balance, and acknowledgement of the bodies that really count to our survival

There are many Celtic Recons and NeoDruids around. I am not one although I do have Gaulish ancestry on my mother's side.

Many of the Pagan Recon religions such as Hellenismos and Asatrur as well as the various Neo-Pagan religions such as Wicca and Neo-Druidism honor the spirits within Nature....

This in my opinion is not a bad thing.

I am of English/Irish descent.

I haven't looked into Celtic Reconstructionism much. Don't think I will any time soon. Maybe sometime.

Doesn't seem to be much of a question. But I'm Scottish/Scandinavian. I am a Celtic Recon (Paganagh).

Come from a long line of Celts myself. It is just something you feel "in the blood." Plus, I have auburn hair and green eyes. We are all over the place.

I'm a Pagan, too. Even my name is Welsh, ha ha.

I definitely hope we're going back to the ways of the Goddess - before it's too late.
