I'm 43 yrs old and I'm constantly forgetting things. At times I can remember things from years past and other times I can't remember what I had for dinner the night before. Is there help?

Everyone has problems remembering things from time to time. If this is causing you distress or interfering in your life i.e.job, might be a good idea to see your doctor. Are you drinking alcohol? taking any medications? Many things affect memory including stress.
There is medication that can help with organizing your thoughts and even memory.

All you got to do is practice, practice, and practice. When you do something write it down on a post it or a schedule book. Also repeat it like 5 -1 0 times until it stays in your long term memory and that will help a lot. You may also want to stare it for a 1 min or so to get a good visual of it so that it stays in your visual memory.

I'm not sure if this is true but I have been told that reading helps. Not sure how but I am an avid reader and I have a pretty good memory. I have a few friends that don't read unless it's freeway signs and they have the worst memory I have ever encountered. Not sure if it even helps.........

I have similar problems. I think it's because I am too busy and distracted to concentrate.

i get like that!, If you're stressed it could be that. Also make sure you do puzzles like crosswords, suduko to exercise your mind, if you're worried see your doctor.
