There is a lady who claims to be a prophet of God. She is a pentecostal, which my pastor and my dad say isn't right. But she foretells people's futures like she said: "You're going to have troubles and you will need something," like a psychic. Is she evil or confused??? Help!!!!! is her power REAL???

Stay away from her, and if your pastor is allowing this nonsense you should find another place to fellowship.

What she's doing is not prophecy, it's called fortune telling or sooth-saying. Pure evil. She evidently has people there who have encouraged her by listening or else she would stop. If she isn't silenced or forced to leave, then you should leave.

She's confused. There are no real psychics, no foretelling the future, none of that crap. It's all bogus. People make themselves believe the SILLIEST stuff all the time.

By the way, telling someone that "You're going to have troubles and you will need something," is kind of pathetic. Since it's almost CERTAIN to happen to EVERYONE at one point or another, it's one of those idiot prophecies that are ridiculously easy to predict. It's like saying "When you wake up tomorrow, you will think of something that you find interesting!"

Duh.

Well, evaluate what is being said. If it is from God, God will already be trying to make that point to that person. God will be revealing it to the person in many other avenues.
Seek wisdom in this. I think that God brings forth HIS power through us. What smells fishy the most to me is that she's walking around all proud that she's a prophet. The Bible teaches humility, thinking lowly of themselves. God dwells in the humble. But he turns away from a proud man.
Is it beyond God's power to use a proud man to get to His people? No. But God dwells with the humble. Pray about this. The other thing that sounds fishy is that you call this HER power. Prophecy is not a power of of men, but of God.
Seek the lord, seek wisdom. The church leaders need to come together and seek God about this.

Hey there....you stick to what your dad and pastor said about them...there are many who "believe" they are of God in some way..i have had my own head-butts with them..and, have had to slap a few around...(as an authority in the Church) even to the point of throwing them out! Your pastor should take some lessons on"protecting the flock from the "wolves!" as well as feeding them only...you take care....and, don't worry about this person..but, do pray for them.."Peace!"

See if everything she says comes true. To be a true prophet of God, she must have a 100% accuracy rate. If not, she is a false prophet.

You could say that same thing to anyone on the planet and it would be true. She is either mentally ill or is fooling herself or she is having a good time pulling your leg.

"You're going to have troubles and you will need something,"
Wow, and 5 year old could make that prediction to anyone. How gullible are you?
