As a middle school teacher who has taught younger AND older grades, I fully agree with you. The ages between 12 and 14 seem the roughest, and 13 is smack dab in the middle. Chin up, all who are 13! This too shall pass! :)

I dont think there is a particular age that everyone seems to think is the hardest. People have different hard times. Someone could think that their hardest age was when they were younger. Maybe they got abused or had to face alot of hardships. And then when they grew old, they got a great job, left their old childhood home, and maybe now have a family of their own. Others could have had the best time when htey were young, and as they got older, their life got harder. Thats what I think.

My life right now is pretty hard, i am 22, I wish I was 13 again cuz back then I was just a kid with not any real problems, i just went to school and didnt have much responsability...now that I am 22 I am having a hard time. i have to work, go to college, pay bills, i am a single mom to a 5 yr old daughter who´s in kindergarden and have so many bills to pay...i wish I was a teen again when I didnt have responsabilities, when I was ur agre I used to complain about how hard I had it but now that I am older I realize that being a teen was so much easier than being grown up, having kids, having tro work and pay bills and all the responsability that comes with it.

Me personally? I was 17 when it started being the hardest.
I took calculus in high school and failed because we had a sub the whole year and we were teaching ourselves. I retook it the next semester at a community college at night and passed. That on top of cheerleading and a job, that was when it was pretty hard. But 13? They have it easy. No bills, no paying rent, no job. Come on, I'm 22 now and I'm still having a hard time.

65 - 100. Your pressured to give up your home and go to a retirement home. You don't have a safe haven to go to like when your young and your parents are still around.
My grandparents are being pressured by society and finances to sell off the family farm thats been in the family for at least 7 generations. They have watched other family members and neighbors die and their belongings and land auctioned off to the highest bidder. I know they have the same fear of that happening to their home.
At 24 I know nothing I've been through has been as hard as what they're going through. I've always had them and my parents to fall back on. They're parents are dead and they don't want to burden they're children.

That is a fantastic question. If you think about it it, it could be any age. 13 is a hard one, because everything becomes new to you. 14 get's alot easier because you learn how to deal with it correctly. Life is what you make it.

It depends on the individual. You're just saying 13 because that's how old you probably are. Next year you'll be saying 14, and then 15 the year after that =D
