K, so I went out with this guy for like two days. Then we broke up. Then, about a week later I went out with him for another week, and we broke up again. We still like each other, but we're not going out. We hold hands and cuddle and stuff, so I would say we have a thing. I told him I don't wanna go out again because I don't want it to turn out like last time and that we should hang out more before we go out again. Do you think it's good that I'm waiting a little bit, but leading him on? I really, really like him, and I try to get over him but I can't. Am I doing the right thing?

This is too funny. I went out with my ex boyfriend for 9 months off/on. eventually, I decided to do the same thing you did. He took it the wrong way though. My friends kept saying that we were exclusive and such and I denied it. I guess he believed them and put it in his mind that we were more than just friends with benifits. When I met my current boyfriend (who I've been dating for a year and three months now) he was devastated and thought I was cheating on him and was really hurt.
All I have to say is: Make sure you both are on the same page and understand what is going on and eachother. Also, be careful when meeting new guy friends or hanging out with other guys. You might fall for another guy, regardless of how much you like this guy, and end up hurting your already boy toy. Same with him and other girls.

yeah, you're doing the right thing. you can't rush to the same relationship again, and again. You have to wait for a little bit for your heart to heal. It's good.

If he really likes you too then he will realize that you need time to get to know him more because of past experiences with him.

i don't think you genuinely want to get over him. if you did, you wouldn't be cuddling and holding hands with him and constantly getting back together with him. only you know what's best for you, and only you can decide what you want.

i kno exactly wut u r feeling..
i had that same problem, but now we are just friends. well, he still hits on me and i kinda flirt back, but its ok. just don't turn him on too much and keep your distance until u r really sure u wanna be with him. yes, it really is good to wait.
besides, while you're waiting u might find somebody else that u can actually work with

This is WAY too much drama.... real relationships don't take that much work to figure out. Why don't you just be friends with him (NO SEX) and find someone to date that isn't so much of a pain....
