i purchased glass mugs that are microwave and dishwasher safe. are they ovenproof as well?

glass in the oven is okay, but its the direct heat from a burner that will shatter it. the oven distributes the heat over all. and the burners focus the heat directly to the bottom....

NO WAY. Never place any dishwasher and/or microwave safe item in the oven- It will shatter all over the inside of the oven.

no because the heat of the ovenn would break the glass of the cup/mug!

No not unless it says they are oven proof on the sticker listing them as being over proof.!
