I'm 16 and have large breasts for my age, my friends (all girls) said i should be greatful as they are all flat but as my last 2 boyfreinds dated me only for my boobs, i'm rather self concious. A lot of guys at school taunt me about them and i think i'm asking this question just to rant but if guys like girls who have big boobs so much why do they push so many to breast reduction by making them feel out of place.

the idea of plastic surgery and breast reduction is a heavy thing to deal with at any age, not to mention at 16. although i don't know for sure, i would say that if your chest is causing back problems, problems moving or running or something, then it's really something you should consider. do they look out of place on your frame? i understand how hard it can be to be taunted, but i dont think you would be approved for the surgery on the taunting alone.

first and foremost, although you're probably a great person, most people at 16 are a$$holes. it's a sad but true fact. if you like how you look, then who cares what they think??? if you are having real physical problems though, talk to your parents or pediatrician about it.

Do it only for yourself. Don't let anyone's comments be a deciding factor.

High school is a horrid place. The real world is not like that. You can dress a big chest "down" with the right clothes so it's not so obvious. Try shirts without buttons, structured jackets, that sort of thing. You might want to look at a plus-sized store (like Lane Bryant) even if you're not "plus-sized" because they will have shirts that won't gap at the buttons.

I'd only recommend a breast reduction if you have back pain, your bra straps dig into your shoulders, and they're really an annoyance for you. You should also look into getting a good bra fitting. The right bra can give you more comfort and even make them look smaller.

But don't listen to teenagers' opinions when making this decision.

The only persons opinion you need to know is YOUR OWN.

Do you have any back pain and health issues? If so, then talk to your doctor about one. PS's usually don't operate on people under 18, but there ARE exceptions. And it can be covered by insurance.

TRY to ignore them. I got teased a LOT when I was younger and I was huge in the chest.

I got a reduction Feb 2006 and don't regret it one bit.

But do it for the RIGHT reasons, NOT because kids tease you.

How big are they? Big breasts are not always a good thing even though a lot of men think they are. A lot of women with really large breasts tend to have back pain when they get older. If you aren't in any pain, than I would pass on the surgery. If you are, than I would talk to my doctor before making any major decisions.

You have to remember boys your age are still children. They like big boobs because its some thing they can see and stare at. Don't be bothered by that, as you grow up you will meet more mature men who will respect you before your boobs. Dont change something that is not wrong .

You should be proud of your boobs! I don't think a surgery is necessary unless they're really getting in your way with your health or day-to-day functions.

If guys are just going out for your boobs, you have to look harder. People do the same thing with other body parts and physical traits like their butt or physique. Think of your boobs as a way to filter out all the sex-crazed beezies. If they find other reasons to like you than your boobs, then you win.

Personality always counts. Don't waste your money or your parents money on anything unecessary. There are actually good guys out there.

I'm rather well endowed as well. It's hard sometimes, but you shouldn't make any life altering changes until you're a few years older.
I went through that period in HS too. Guys gawking, making remarks, grabbing at them.
To this day I still have guys talking to my breasts. It's just stupid. I usually say they don't answer you back or my eyes are up here.
Don't let other peoples (mainly boys) stupidity get you down.

No don't change the way you are. do not change the way you look because of some jack*ss guys.

P.S. guys who only like girls for there boobs are losers. I like girls for who they are and I'm not attractive to a woman's body.
