Depends on why you brokeup up..If he left you, why would you want to talk to him? If its been two months and youve heard nothing, most likely it isnt worth even doing. But your curiousity always gets you so i can understand y you ask that question. I would say no, I had to learn the hard way. But if you really want to see whats going or just to say hi, send an email or IM..that way its not as personal. Just dont expect anything great to happen. Just be neutral..
If you get not response, suck it up and move on. You did your part, so take it for what its worth and live your life..
