batgirl2good: You are mostly right. To some groups Satan is NOT evil. This would be a genuine blessing to them. How the person saying it feels, has absolutely no bearing on how it is received. Always a pleasure to hear from you. *bows*

No, because Satan is evil. I get your point.
I never tell anyone whom I know is not a Christian, "God bless you."
NEVER! I do not want to offend anyone.

I'm a Christian. I wouldn't care. It would have no more effect upon me than it would have upon an atheist to whom someone absentmindedly said "God bless you" after a sneeze. I don't walk around in fear of Satan, so it's irrelevant to me, just as the atheist doesn't believe in God, and hence would find the notion of God's blessing irrelevant.

I want to try that just for the reaction factor. ☺
But where I live they would have a prayer circle formed for me within 10 minutes. They did so when someone found I was "One of THEM "Atheistis" "

Since they are the only ones who believe he exists, I don't think they would appreciate it.

Probably not.
But then, when I respond to their "God bless you"s with "Thanks, and I'll remember your name in my next ritual" they tend to be upset by that, too.
