My friend is a gunsmith for the local law enforcement agencies here in L.A., and many of the agents bring in their own handguns for cleaning. So after taking the barrel out and cleaning them down and putting them back together, we get a chance to test shoot them.
So a variety of .22's, .38 special, .45 using hallow point shells, .357 that I held tightly. The shot guns were more difficult and left a bruise on my shoulder, so I like to make a special light load shell.
There are some really nice hand guns out there. I have attended gun shows and I am quite impressed with the selection.

In the Navy I only fired three guns.
M1 Garand.
1911 .45.
5"/38. Of course there were, I think, 4 triggers to fire the gun, all had to be closed and I had the last one.
Other then that.
.22 rifle when I was 10.
.35 rifle.
.457 magnum revolver.
Beretta 92S 9MM.
Verious shotguns.
1851 New Remention black powder pistol.

12 and 20 Gauge Break Action

Russian made M44 (7.62x54r)
Various 40., 9mm and 22. Hanguns and Revolvers.

A Lever Action 30-30.
Lee Enfield Rifle
Modified Yugo SKS
Chinese Paratrooper SKS
Romanian AKM
Various bolt action and semi 22. (LR and Magnum)
Airiska(sp) 98
A standard 30-6 hunting rifle. I Think it was a Remmington make.
