I think that your statement is a VERY BROAD GENERALIZATION ... I am a Christian and I don't PRESS by views.
I can't speak for other religions .... But Christians believe in
"sharing" their faith .... It is NO DIFFERENT than a friend of
yours telling you about a new movie; a car; a restaurant; or even a pair of jeans that they especially liked. We ALL share
information that we "think" that others might find helpful, useful, or interesting.
Sure .... there are fanatics of EVERY kind .... (Look at ALL the
commercials and advertisements (even on the Internet) that
we are CONSTANTLY bombarded with. I call THAT being PRESSED!
I don't believe that EVERY person that has a particular religion or faith PRESSES their views on the rest of the world.
I would NEVER try to PRESS my religious beliefs on YOU. Especially if I did not have a relationship with you. I respect your RIGHT to believe what you choose .... And I want YOU to
respect MY RIGHT to do the same!
Please don't lump us ALL in the same POT with those that are excessive or fanatic about their beliefs!

Though I am a Christian I agree with you Iove the Lord but I do not believe you should shove religion down others peoples throats which is basically what a lot of people are trying to do. Besides are not most of those people who do that Jehovah Witnesses personally I disagree with them anyway because most teach salvation by works. And a few are the kind that say sin get your body pierced or something like that and yuo will burn in Hell.So I can definitely see where you are coming from.though i disagree with your beliefs. As a Christian the best thing I can say is think of this if I am wrong and you are right what is going to happen when we die but if I am right and you are wrong just think of whats going to happen.Just please keep this question in mind. However I believe as Christians we should spread the gospel but I think yell at people or trying to cram religion into them only fuels their fire against Christ.

Well, Christian are taught to go forth and be fruitful. Since they are the enlightened ones they need to "witness" like Jesus did. I do not attend any church and I am comfortable with my beliefs. I was dating someone and everytime I saw his family they tried to push their Church of G-d beliefs down my throat. His grandmother went as far and telling me that too much knowledge was a bad thing(in reference to me taking religion classes in college) and that it wasn't too late for me to save myself. Then she told me that I was a blasphemer. I just don't understand why people can't coexist and show compassion towards what other people believe.

Wow! My hand shot up in direction of the ceiling once you asked that question. Even in historical Greece, i'm advised (because of the fact I wasn't there myself) the Gods lived off of peoples' concept in them. it incredibly is one reason historical human beings poured out "libations" on the floor. some historical human beings even sacrificed stay toddlers to the standard god. a faith can not exist with out having some thing. To get money it has to get converts. the religion additionally has to have some form of sexual and ethical administration. The narcissism of church congregations is a inhabitants administration mechanism. It you visit a church, or purely watch them go in or out of it, the individuals in each and every church are strongly such as the ethnicity of one yet another. the ethical teachings are to guard the believers from different communities, merchandising the welfaare of the gang on the cost of others, and controlling the sexual duplicate of the individuals, in many situations to sell it interior the gang, yet in some situations to restrict it, e.g., the Shakers

Jesus Christ has instructed Christians to spread the gospel. Speaking the words doesn't mean that you are "forced" to do anything. I have no idea what a "randomer" is. You have the right to believe anything you want to believe.

Not all religious people do that. If I am asked about my belief I answer. You share your non-belief, there is not much difference. You came to the R&S section, it is what is to be expected.

Because they think everyone else is wrong and going to hell and its their job to stop us from going there.
They dont seem to get we are FREE to believe as we do and dont believe we have that right.
Somehow they think of themselves as Gods upon this earth and if we dont jump they shove "hell" down throats, unbeknownst to them most dont even believe in hell.

That's why religions still exist. They're viral memes.
The ones that didn't push their views on other people in one way or another don't exist anymore. Ironically, this is an example of evolution in progress.

they are afraid of their religion dying out, so they constantly have to repopulate it with other weakminded people. Fill the ranks so that they dont become extinct like they should have hundereds of years ago.
