As all things in nature are in cycles with all things being re-cycled(reincarnated) I believe the human soul is also re-cycled or reincarnated if you will.

Wouldn't it be nice to be able be born again and live again? Some people do believe just that. Our time on Earth is just a test, a training. If we live a perfect life we get to go to heaven, however, if we have not lived a perfect life, we get to live again and go through it again.
Right now, my personal belief is when we die the next thing we know is we will hear Jesus call our name and we will arise from the grave (our spirit) and join him up in the air. When we get to Heaven, we will have a new perfect body and see loved ones again. Or rather it says, we will know of them.
I believe that the Kingdom of God (Heaven) will be placed upon the surface of the Earth after the destruction. I'm sure a priest or a scholar could clarify that for me or set me right.
As for reincarnation, it would be nice like a fantasy movie to awake and live again in physical form or be a ghost or invisible and see life continue. Life seems so short as you get older. But I guess we were not meant to live too long. The bibical characters, like Abraham lived a good long life. Still I wish I could live to be 150 and still young.
I do believe their is or will be a Heaven and I hope it will be wonderful. I would love to hear any replies.

As a youngster I had a recurrent dream that I was driving a car that looked like it was built in the twenties. It was country scenery very similar to the countryside in England. In this dream I ran into a tree and that is the last thing I remember in it. Now it could be based on something else but I have often wondered if it could have been an image from a past life.
Reincarnation seems to make more sense to me than just one time around. I don't think that you could possibly know everything there is to know from just one viewpoint (ie male or female, rich or poor). Your experiences would be very different based on how you were born and to what circumstances. If there is more than material existence, then reincarnation makes the most sense to me.

I believe I can remember several past lives so, yes, I believe in reincarnation. Whether this will happen for me again, what it means, why it happens, this I do not know. I speculate about it sometimes, I have guesses, but I do not know.
I am a Christian, by which I mean I believe in Christ, believe he is exactly what he said he was and believe in his message (love one another, let he who is without sin among you cast the first stone, do unto others as you would have others do unto you, etc.). I do not believe in the religious dogma of any particular church. I like some things in the Old Testament (10 commandments) but think mostly it is history (some of which is possibly distorted) with some patriarchial and prejudiced women bashing and bashing of any group "not us" thrown in. I have respect for most of the other great religions of the world, especially Buddhism.

Yes, in a way. I never used to, but over the past few years I've become more spiritual and interested in topics like this.
I believe there is an afterlife in Heaven or Hell, but there is no way that I could rule out reincarnation.
There are theories that Heaven is in a different demension of the world we are living in, this is why spirits/ghosts/orbs always seem to be floating.
In a book I read it said that spirits are energy and that's why we see orbs and such, and this energy doesn't die. Therefore we are reincarnated with the energy of our spirits.

I do not believe in reincarnation.
It has always seemed silly to me. I will keep coming back and back again until I get it right. No thanks.
You know I never did know just what I am trying to get right. Something like being one with the universe?
I always smile when I hear people talk about having a past life. Everybody was somebody important in their former life. I never hear, "I was a janitor" or "I was scrub woman."

Yep.
You will not get much support for reincarnation here in the west because Rome outlawed the teaching of it in the 4th or 5th century. Prior to that it was a part of the christian belief system. For a long time even mentioning it was considered heresy.
That means You could be killed for teaching it.

Plenty of us believe. So you are not alone. Some Bible quotes indicated this until they were taken out. At any rate, the belief in reincarnation is ancient and believed in by the masses in Eastern spirtually based countries. Don't worry about naysayers. You are not alone. I really think it does come down to an East vs West mindset.

The whole idea of reincarnation seems too primitive to take seriously. I don't rule out the possibility that human personality can survive the death of the body, but the idea of the soul as a thing that lives in the body the way an oyster lives in its shell seems too primitive to take seriously.

There are far more people alive now than people who have ever died in the past. So reincarnation can't be the only source of new souls.
