Not even the Bible claims to be 100% true, in spite of what some think. There are clear and obvious cases in which the Bible speaks in metaphors and parable.
If you mean scientifically true, no. Joshua commands the Sun to stand still in the sky to preserve daylight while fighting a battle, but Joshua could've ordered the Sun to do a triple back-flip and it wouldn't have affected the day-night cycle...that's affected by the earth's rotation. Obviously the author of Joshua didn't know that.

The bible is completely true because the authors of the bible were inspired to write it through the Holy Spirit. Most things in the bible are symbols, so if you happen to read something that seems far-fetched, it may be a symbol for something totally realistic.

yes of couse it is.
2 Timothy 3:16:All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.
2 Peter 1:21:For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit.
So you see the bible was inspired by God even though he didn't write it he gave the writers holy spirit to write it.
Put it this way To illustrate: A businessman might have a secretary write a letter. That letter contains the businessman’s thoughts and instructions. Hence, it is really his letter, not the secretary’s. In a similar way, the Bible contains God’s message, not that of the men who wrote it down. Thus, the entire Bible truthfully is “the word of God.”—1 Thessalonians 2:13.

The bible was written by men. These men that wrote it colored it with their own perspectives and their own truths. They also included quite a bit of symbolism (that is often taken literally). It's like any other book to document history (not saying that the bible documents history, mind you, but it does have some historical accuracy to it), it was written by the conquerors. They wrote it to show their point of view in a better light than those of their opposition. You can see the same thing throughout history. I don't think it's possible to get a truly accurate account of the events of that time.

The old testament, not a chance. The new testament is a different matter. It is not word for word litterally true, such as, one deciple writes that there was one angel in the tomb after Christ arose and another deciple writes that there were two. But, these are not important.
The only important things are what Chirst told us to do. The rest can be discounted, especially if it contradicts Christ's word. Focus on Christ.

Well, it can't be 100 percent true. In one account, Jesus fed 5000 people, in another account of the same story, it was 4000. That may seem like a trivial discrepency, but it does disprove the idea that every word in the Bible is 100% true.

No, its a compilation of folk stories basically, a man Jesus may have existed and some rational parts of the story may have a factual basis, but any of the supernatural claims were just the workings of creative minds trying to figure out what they did not understand, many superstitions still exist today even with the enourmous amount of science that points to the conclusion that they are just immaginary

to me and my faith i say it is. Now to my understnading many people try to disprove the bible by saying it contradicts itself or that it lies in it. Now the bible is the handbook from god and his infinity. So honestly I beleive that those who are trying to disprove the bible are not getting one important fact about christianity. We as humans only have a limited amount of logic and reason given to us by god. And if we as chritsin told anyone that we completly understood everything about god then that by itself disprooves chirsitanity for then god would not be infinite. Now the bible is written so that we can only understand what it means by faith and wisdom through walking with christ. it is hard to swallow down becuase it does at times require faith to read it and know that we as the readers may disagree however the bible is the only 100% true source we have to knowing exactly how god wants us to act and live our lives.

That depends, Do you really think that a man could survive in the stomache of a whale or that a single man could build an arc and round up 2 of every animal on earth, hat boat would have to be bigger than the mall of america. there are many things in the bible that could never ever happen.
