Ouch.

Go north to Toledo or Cleveland to catch the Lake Shore Limited or Capitol Limited, those will take you to Chicago, Boston, DC or NYC.

Go south to Cincinatti (or Maysville or Ashland) for the Cardinal. That's the slow train through the West Virginia mountains, only runs 3x a week. Chicago, Indy, Cinci, Huntington, Charleston, Staunton VA, Charlottesville, DC, Philly, NYC.

If you just want a station, there's also the Ohio Railway Museum in Worthington, they run electric streetcars, but I'm not sure they're operating.

I am retired Navy and spent all of my time in the Pacific. San Diego is a very good base. The weather there is good as it does not snow. I also spent 10 years at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. Very Good. The largest overseas base is Yokosuka Japan. There are several Ships home-ported there. Washington State also has a very good and New base just north of Seattle. Everett Washington
