Yep. I believe when I was four or five that I saw one!
I was at church, and my church was HUGE! It had separate buildings, I was in the one for children, and my parents were in the worship house or whatever it was called. I was scared, and I missed my parents, and I ran out. No one came after me, so I tried to find my parents. This man came up to me, I had never seen him before, and we began talking (I can't remember what about.) Then as I told him what had happened, I thought I had found the building my parents were in, and almost started to go into it. He told me that the building that I wanted wasnt that one, and then showed me where it was. He was so friendly! I went into the big church, interupted the worship and my parents found me. They couldn't believe I had walked all the way from my church to theirs. I told them about the man and they had never seen him before, and I have never seen him since. I believe God sent him to me!He was my angel!
Love in Christ

Sure. It has been the constant belief from Genesis through the NT (many times angels appear, helping Peter out of prison, Jesus saying He could summon legions of them, etc.) And the Catholic Church has always maintained that since. There are non-religious people what have experienced demons (bad angels). And there are even folks like Shirley Maclaine who argue vehemently and often for spirits, disembodied intelligences, etc. but who avoid what is only a name anyway, the name 'angel'.
The idea of a non-physical existence is at the base of the idea, though it doesn't prove the existence itself. That God is not material, that a person is more than just chemicals (has a soul, is not a machine) -- these are the grounds for unbelievers being open to the possibility.

That song "Sending an Angel" is playing in my head now lol. I must say yes. They have been there for me. Just yesterday I was sitting in the park by a fountain. Trying to get some divine guidance. The water from the fountain spout took on the shape of an angel made of flowing water.

The angels are already here. There are many, many, incarnated angels on earth, living amongst us. You do not have to look far to meet one. They bring their love energy to counter the fear on this planet. They bring balance, with their love, to those who live in doubt and confusion. You have angels and guides around you now in other realms, who wish to assist you of you would just ask them to. Those angels need to be asked before they can help.

Dear Friend,
Most definately. Scripture is very clear.
Hebrews 13:1,2 says, "Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."
Blessings in Christ Jesus,

CCC 336 - From its beginning until death, human life is surrounded by their watchful care and intercession. "Beside each believer stands an angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life." Already here on earth the Christian life shares by faith in the blessed company of angels and men united in God.
CCC 328 - The existence of the spiritual, non-corporeal beings that Sacred Scripture usually calls "angels" is a truth of faith. The witness of Scripture is as clear as the unanimity of Tradition.
CCC 330 - As purely spiritual creatures angels have intelligence and will: they are personal and immortal creatures, surpassing in perfection all visible creatures, as the splendor of their glory bears witness.
