@ No:

a) Brad says "There is no god!"
b) Darlene says to Brad "The fool says in their heart, 'There is no god'".

Is Darlene calling Brad a fool?

(Your answer here)

Because if she is, Jesus says to Darlene, "Whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire". And so Darlene roasts in unimaginable torment until the ends of time courtesy of the baby Jesus.

If she's not calling Brad a fool, no problem as far as I can see.

That English comprehension working for you okay?

Not really. I'm impressed with your lack of reading comprehension. Take each word at a time and look them up in a dictionary. If you can't see the difference, than you either are deliberately trying to start a fuss, or you are blind to the implications. AND the meaning of the English language. If you won't then I believe we have our answer.

Tsk tsk, my Baddie. Which Bible are you reading from? Original Ancient Greek NT reads that Jesus did not say Hell Fire, but Gehenna. Gehenna is considered a symbol of the Grave from which there is no ressurection. I don't see the contradiction though honey. Matthew 5:22 is not refering to God, but to your Brother.
Now onto more important things, which beer should I buy for tonight? Guiness or Sam Adams?

The modern translation you chose changed the meaning because it actually says he who calls his BROTHER meaning your Christian brother a fool is in danger of Hellfire. The other scripture you used is talking about everyone not just your Christian Brother. See it goes along with the text in 1 John where it says if you don't love your Brother (Christian brother) You are in darkness and don't know God, probably aren't even saved. You didn't find a contradiction you found a translation of the bible that is not accurate. Which yes satan is behind it whether you believe in satan or not. Unfortunately, he believes in you:

Here is the King James version of that same passage:

Matthew 5:22
But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

to be perfectly honest i really dont even know what your asking, being in reality it could seem that you are agreeing with the former asker that the two verses do contradict each, when in reality they really are contradictions, they are too different aspects of the same thought.
