How can I hint to him that I like him?
Or should I just ask him out?

look! just see if there r any museums or festivals around that u can go to. then ask him if he would like to go with u!
just say that u want to enjoy whatever the museum or festival with someone interesting...so why not him!

Hinting doesn't work with men..... men don't understand hints.
Ask him out, slip him a love note saying you want to go out with him with a big red heart drawn on it, etc.

Flirt with him. Touch his face or something in a playful way and tell him you like hangin gout with him. Body language says it all.
