It's weird, but not in a bad way. Hentai is the same as all other porn, and she has every right to watch it if she likes it (though the law disagrees, for some strange reason. Porn doesn't hurt anyone, why it is illegal for those under 18 will never make sense to me).

Yeah, Hentai is weird, but it can't really be that bad if people keep making it and other people keep watching it.
It's anime pornography, what's the big deal?

I don't really know how to answer this. Hentai is....well, interesting, if you're into that. Most of it deals with tentacle monsters and rape scenes so you might want to ask her what about it interests her so much, especially when there's so much other quality anime available to watch that isn't sexual in any way.
Eleventy, hentai is japanese anime porn. Most of what I've seen is graphic, violent and has lots of tentacles....my husband is a strange one to be sure.

Depending on her umm, "relationship" to the activity, it could be anywhere from a simple "odd and weird" quirk to full blown "obsession."
As long as it isn't an obsession, not much harm is done. I have to agree with some of the other commentators, stepping away from fantasy to face reality would be a bit better.

it's bad not because she's a christian or because it's porn, it's bad because it's a freakin cartoon! i'd be more worried about that than anything else. who the hell likes to watch cartoons having sex? the socially inept, that's who.
