I have a friend from spain and we talk on msn. She has very little english and i very little spainish sometimes her friends come on too. And they say jeje is that txt talk like lol?

Yeah, they say "jeje" and "jaja" because their "J" sound is the equivalent to our "H" sound. (Haha = Jaja)

Could be that she's missing keys, too. jeje is awfully close to hehe. "hehe" is awfully popular among lots of people who use shorthand even though the correct spelling is "hee hee" or "heh heh" depending on the sound.

"lol" is in english, spaniards say "jejeje"(hehehe) "jajajaj" (hahaha). That's all, they don't put abreviatures they just laugh.
