I am not sure if you can get your own. You can try AKC.org. You can get your dog measured at most AKC Sanctioned events especially if they are offer agility trials.

Make one. It is in inches. The AKC one just has an "arm" that sits on top of the withers. You can use a yard stick and mark it on the wall and measure.

The withers are located at the shoulders that meet with the neck. The highest point of the back. You can measure using a standard yard stick.

The height is measured with a "wicket"

http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A9G_bHI8201Hmg0AeFWjzbkF/SIG=123if9ve7/EXP=1196371132/**http%3A//www.showpaps.com/images/wicketsqueek.JPG

They set the wicket to the maximum height and if the foot of the wicket is not firmly on the table (bottom of the wicket can be rocked back and forth) the dog will be disqualified.

As DP suggested most of us have one that we made using plastic pipe for our specific breed (does not have to be adjustable (3 sections of pipe and 2 90deg elbows is all it takes)

its just a ruler...

The AKC measuring device is called a wicket. Build yourself one.

Most decent training facilities have them on hand. All agility training facilities do.
