Okay. Im 18. I have asked a prior question before.

I want to recruit myself since I want to persue my career in the airline industry/commercial pilot. Thus I want to join so they can pay my tuition(very expensive). I think people misunderstood me by thinking I only wanted to 'use' or take advantage of the military force.

The fact is I also want to join because I have a passion for planes, I'm willing to work with planes all my life. But preferable being a pilot. So the reason for joining is of course to fight our freedom, but also to work with their planes (engineering?) and have a helping hand to pay for my flights.

I have bad eyes to fly the air force jets, so I would join to inspect their planes, Which I believe is engineering?

Also would it matter which military branch I would chose to work with planes, I have seen the US Navy have jets in their ship.

How would I go about with this. How would you do? I just need a little facts. Thanks. ;)

Find an Air Force recruiter in your area and talk to them they can tell you what you can and can't do. Talk to Navy also. Or look up Air Force on line and Navy on line.

I would recommend something along the lines of Aviations Mechanic or Aerospace Engineer, if you're into that kind of thing. There is a broad range of sub-catagories you could go into with both of those (such as the type of mechanic or which planes you would work on), but like someone else said, talking to an Air Force Recruiter in your area could help you find what's right for you.

I think ALL the branches work with aircraft, but obviously the Air Force has the most involvement. I think the Navy is second, then the Army.

The Air Force, Navy and Marines all three have jet aircraft and turboprops so all three would fit what you are looking for. Aircraft mechanics do the checking of the aircraft prior to flight and the finals are the responsibility of the Plane Captain for that aircraft in the Marines and Navy, the Air Force uses the same system I am fairly sure of but use a different title for the position. Plane Captains are selected from the maintenance ranks and it is a very sought after and prestigious position so the competition level is high. Talk to the recruiters and see what they say.

The career you are looking for is Crew Chief--Aerospace Maintenence. The AF has jets, refuelers, cargo planes and much more. Crew Chiefs maintain and inspect aircraft as well as do paperwork. It is a challenging and rewarding career. Many AF bases have Aero Clubs where you can take flight lessons for a reasonable price and they can help you get your pilo's license but these lessons are NOT covered by the GI Bill. You can however get your degree in an Aerospace related field which will be covered by your GI Bill. You must pay $100 a month for 12 months into the GI BIll before you can sart using the benenfits. Be forwarned: Crew Chiefs work LONG, HARD hours and schooling often takes a backseat to work. Most enlisted members can get a Bachelor's degree in 7-8 years.

Depends on what you want, the airforce is much more specialized in their maintence practices, whereas the Navy/marine corps are more general (i.e. i am a safety equipment mechanic in the navy, i fix air conditioning, ejection seats, oxygen, cabin pressure ect. Whereas the airforce has one job for seats, one for air conditioning ect.)
Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. I suggest reading up on it, aircraft maintence is a very rewarding career.

If you have a health problem, they probably will not take you. The military didn't take me because of a thyroid disorder. Whatever you do, don't join because the US military is immoral because of how it's being used. Jet bombers are distant to the suffering they induce because they don't observe their destruction. If
