To get HD you must use:

- Component (3 RCA cables)
- HDMI

Since HDMI cables are usually cheaper and carry both video and audio - thats the recommended hookup.

My favorite cable place is BlueJeans but MonoPrice has good prices as well.

You should get an HDMI cable. Not only does it send the the raw data digitally to your display, if you connect it through a home theatre receiver that has HDMI inputs, you can also get the audio from that single cable as well.

This makes it ideal as it cuts down on all the cables necessary into one single cable that can run from your player to your receiver to your tv.

HDMI is going to provide the highest picture quality. HDMI is a digital signal, not an analog like you would find in a composite cable.

If your TV has HDMI (or DVI), and (I beleive) A2 has HDMI - this is the best, ALL DIGITAL connection. Followed by component. No point in composite or s-video on HD player...
