Just started dating again after quite a few years! It seems most guys will tell you what you want to hear, and then totally change the story the next time you see them. I'm having a hard time trusting that any guy is for real. How do you find a sincere one, or know that they are telling the truth?

Miss deelighful, I am a disabled shut-in and from what I see and hear the guys and gals have both lost their way ! I have been down since 1985 and lord have mercy it sounds horrible out there ! Where have all the manners gone ? Raised to be a gentleman I seem to be out of touch with life today. The church isn"t even a safe haven anymore. So I choose to stay in, but I will pray for you to find your Mr. right !

just to be clear, its not just guys that are like this, women are too. Thats the nature of people, women just complain to each other more about men and men dont. Its more understood that men are like that but men just ignore it bc there are women out there that understand that people are like that not just men. ask any lesbian female and they wil tell you that women do these things just as much as men do, but if you havent dated a women before then you wouldnt see it that way now would, look at things from all angles, not just the ones that support your view.

I feel your pain. I have been single for two years since my last boyfriend and I am tired of just dating around. Don't get me wrong I am currently dating someone who already said he loved me..which is way to soon...no I didn't say that I love him back...but its hard regardless if you are getting back into the scene or have been in the scene. Its just how they work...they like the chasing game..yes not all men are like this but it seems like the majority of them are.
So keep your head up and watch out for the jerks! and trust me that there are plenty of them out there!

You know why MEN are like this because it's the women this day in age who allow men to do the stuff that they do and they make it so easy for these men these days. That's the problem. We have to learn to make them work a little harder.

just date around, until you find the one, don't settle for any. sometime it's better to just let it be, don't push things, if it's going to come, it's going to come. when it comes, you can't hide or get around it. at the mean time, maybe you're looking at the wrong place. sometime the one you want is right under your nose and you didn't even recognize it.

takes time to find out if someone is sincere or not - both genders. you simply listen to what they say and observe what they do. if there's conflict, then you have your answer. unfortunately or fortunately, it takes time for the sincerity or insincerity to reveal itself.
