The Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was not a Christian i believe nor was the Prophet (pbuh) a pagan, not too sure though, but the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was a messenger of Allah Subanatallah, i think all the Prophet's (pbuh) life Muhammad (pbuh) was meditating, recieving messages, instructions from God, in time the Prophet (pbuh) realised it was his mission to spread the religion Islam, & not by force but by love & peaceful means, its amazing how the Prophet (pbuh) turned his enemies into his freinds.

The Prophet Muhammad founded a religion based on mosaic law. The 10 commandments are in the Quran. His main theme is their is not but One true God. The God of Abraham. And this God wants respect. Sound familiar?
Where Islam fails is they do not recognize Jesus as being the Savior of the world. Islamic people hope one day that all evil will be removed from this world. That they will all one day be in Paradise. No the prophet is not Christian, although christ is believed to be a mighty prophet much like Muhammad.

No indeed. Jesus was a Jew, but He's also the Messiah. He's the living Son of the living God.
Muhammad was the worst *human* enemy God ever had. He's been dead for centuries but his followers are still carrying on his campaign against the Most High.

I suppose Mohamed (P.B.&.J.) could have been a Christian in the same manner that Jesus was a Jew. But wasn't Mohamed (P.B.&.J.) born a Jew? I wonder what the prevelant religion was at that time.

No, He hated Christians. He would have been one of the many surviving Zoroastrians that came down from ancient Persia..The influence of the moon motive etc. He had contact with Jews and Christians..but was never either.

He would probably have been a polytheist but very strongly aware of the Jewish faith, most of Arabia worshiped multiple gods at that time. It would have been when God revealed himself at the caves of Hira that he converted to Monotheism
edit* He would also have had an awareness of Christianity, but seeing as how it was still in it's infancy in that area at that time it would not have affected him much
