Hi! Does anyone have a baby cookie recipe that comes out like the ones you buy? You know how the baby teething cookies you buy at the store kind of disinigrate in your mouth? I want to make some healthy baby "teething" cookies. I've tried quite a few recipes, but they all come out too doughy (even if I bake them extra long) ... meaning they aren't crunchy with the ability to disinigrate in the mouth like the ones you buy. In fact, twice the baby has "choked" on these softer types because they just don't break down enough. I don't have any "diet" restrictions, though I won't use sugar in the recipe (honey is fine), would like to limit the fat content and only egg yolks (no egg whites at this age)... does anyone have a baby cookie recipe that comes out like the ones you buy??? Thanks! :-)

Be careful with honey and your baby. I don't remember the age where the child developed the immunities to the bacteria found in honey but I do know babies have died from the bacteria in honey. Check with your pediatrition on honey and your baby.

I know Arrowroot cookies are very similar to baby teething cookies so surf the web using that name and see if it meets your needs. I love arrowroot cookies and they taste exactly like teething cookies.

No honey until the child is over two years old. Honey carries deadly bacteria and infants and young children cannot process this at all. Sugar is not unhealthy unless used in excess.
