Why would you want the government to validate your faith? They're corrupt. Look into your heart instead.

I don't look for the government to validate my faith. I couldn't care less what the government thinks about my faith.

I do, however, expect the government to uphold my right to practice and live according to my faith. (Silly constitutional thing, don't ya know.) Believe it or not, there's a difference.

I don't need anyone to validate my faith. I do however enjoy living in a land with freedom of religion and I would like to keep it that way.

I'd say pretty weak. Seriously, the government messes up just about everything they touch. I wouldn't entrust my faith to them or anybody else for that matter.

I don't think they want the government to validate it necessarily. It just bugs them that what they believe to be the truth isn't being recognized by everyone.. which is basically the way we all feel, isn't it?

Good point! If I understand that YHVH is the all powerful creator of the universe, I will not be trying to get the evil government to affirm His righteousness!!!!
