Well there is MUCH difference.
However it depends upon whom you concider the "Higher Power" to be...(even in AA the "Higher Power" is a Being that is more than Human.) While those that believe in some kind of "Higher Power" know that there is SOME kind of "life after this life" and that we ARE accountable for ALL the things we do in this life. And we WILL be either punished or rewarded for our actions here on this Earth.
Those that hold to the THEORY of Evolution, and/or the Big Bang THEORY...believe that we came from goo by way of the zoo. They are NOT acountable to anyone, not even themselves in many cases. There are no consequences for their actions other than the ones that mankind applies to them.

I believe in a higer power, not just ONE god.
But I'm starting to question that myself.
I suppose by higher power I mean.....
Hell, I don't know what I belive anymore.
