If you're hoping to make it creamier, add more solid fat (butter, cream cheese) and less liquid fat (milk). Also, for depth of flavor, you could mix in a tablespoon of dry ground mustard. Finally, if you have 10 extra minutes, make your boxed macaroni and cheese, mix it with the mustard and some shredded cheddar, and bake it until the added cheese melts. If you would like extra texture, add breadcrumbs to the top.

Use a little more butter than it calls for and you can cut back on the milk. If you have a little shredded cheddar cheese, you can sprinkle that on top while the mac & cheese is still warm. A tsp. of parmasan cheese mixed in, gives it a little zip too.

Follow the directions, but you can add veggies, diced meats, etc.... You can also add extra cheddar and then grate some fresh Romano cheese on top and pop it in the oven for a bit until the cheese is a golden brown... yum!!

buy the box with the cheese sauce in it...a little more expensive, but worth it. Or just pour melted velveeta over pasta. Thin with a little milk.
