Be careful with it, pearls are extremely delicate. Do not wear it to bed, or in the shower, or while doing the dishes. You should treat it like a fragile piece of crystal. Also do not use any type of jewelry cleaner on it it will ruin the luster of the pearl as well as weaken the apoxy that it is glued on with. Once you are married I would only wear he ring when going out and dressing up. Pearls are not durable enough for every day wear. But it does sound lovely and I hope it stays that way for you, the reason for my warnings and advice.

Sounds REALLY pretty, I have had my eye on a pearl ring in a jewelry store in town myself! Just be careful with it, I think pearl rings are a lot easier to damage than the average diamond ring. CONGRATS!!!

Congrats! I love pearls and diamonds together (except I prefer yellow gold). Sounds like you are pleased with your man's choice!

An engagement ring is whatever means the most to you. It doesn't have to be a diamond. It can be any stone that you just love. If you are happy with your engagement ring....congratulations. You do know there will be people out there that will be questioning why it isn't the traditional diamond........

A pearl in place of a center diamond sounds unique.
Congratulations.

The important thing is that you like it. I think it sounds lovely. Keep in mind though that you will be wearing it everyday and the pearl with take a beating because of that. You can't put it in detergents or anything even mildly acidic. It will scratch relatively easily.
It sounds lovely, but for how long...

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! It sounds so nice....As long as you love it, but make sure you get it appraised!!! It sounds a little inexpensive for a genuine pearl and two diamonds on the side. Not trying to be rude...but def go see a jeweler...a reputable one

I am a firm believer that an engagement ring does NOT have to be diamonds and I am happy for you that you are so pleased with your ring.
