We are Permanent residents from the last six yrs, everytime we are sent for secondary immigration, WHY ?

We are Permanent residents from the last six yrs, but everytime we fly back from India, we are being sent for Secondary immigration check, we dont know why specially after 24hrs of flying, we have to wait for almost one hr in the line up. can anyone tell, or guess why we are being sent for Secondary immigration check. yes we did not ask the officers as that might delay us for one more hr in the line up.

I had problems like this with customs and finally just asked one of the agents. He checked it out for me and found a stupid glich in the system. He fixed it for me and I have never been hassled since. Take the time. its worth it!
