Haha.
Funny idea.
As long as he understands that it means "Hey, we're with you!" and not "We're still into crucifixion!", he will probably be ok with it.

No, especially since........
A1. Cross, Crucify [Noun] Vine's
stauros denotes, primarily, "an upright pale or stake." On such malefactors were nailed for execution. Both the noun and the verb stauroo, "to fasten to a stake or pale," are originally to be distinguished from the ecclesiastical form of a two beamed "cross." The shape of the latter had its origin in ancient Chaldea, and was used as the symbol of the god Tammuz (being in the shape of the mystic Tau, the initial of his name) in that country and in adjacent lands, including Egypt. By the middle of the 3rd cent. A.D. the churches had either departed from, or had travestied, certain doctrines of the Christian faith. In order to increase the prestige of the apostate ecclesiastical system pagans were received into the churches apart from regeneration by faith, and were permitted largely to retain their pagan signs and symbols. Hence the Tau or T, in its most frequent form, with the cross-piece lowered, was adopted to stand for the "cross" of Christ.
Strong's
4716. stauros stow-ros' from the base of 2476; a stake or post (as set upright), i.e. (specially), a pole or cross (as an instrument of capital punishment);

Catholics should wear Crucifixes -- not empty Crosses -- around their necks.
Why Crucifixes instead of empty Crosses?
Because, as did Paul, we preach Christ crucified, and know that we get to the Resurrection through the Cross, that we are called to pick up our own crosses and carry them, offering up our sufferings in imitation of Him.

Yes,
since the cross shows how much we appreciate Jesus' death.
For Christians, the cross is a sign of victory and the key to the gates of Heaven.

Good one. Funny. Mild sacrilege. Shouldn't get you in too much trouble with Him when comes back. I'm sure He has a sense of humor.
The real funny thing will be......back then, they also crucified people on T-shaped devices and X-shaped devices. He might come back and say, "Yo, what's up with all the crosses. I was crucified on a big X."

I've often thought about this. Imagine coming back to life and being presented not only with an image of the instrument of your death, but often an image of your broken, bleeding body on said instrument. I imagine he'd say something like "Oh, thanks a lot, guys. Real happy memories there."

He said to take up our cross and follow him...He wants us to carry the cross.
Matthew 10:38
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Given that the cross was the instrument with which he saved all of humanity I don't think he'd mind.
As Christians we are called to pick up our cross and follow Jesus. The cross, therefore, should be loved and not hated. Our cross and suffering are what will unite us with God.

I don't think that Jesus is to worried about it.
Jesus is all powerful...He is not ringing His hands in heaven saying What are we gonna do? He is in complete power and complete control. He knows exactly what is going to happen and why....you should get to know Him...He can change your life.

solid question-That might bring back some bad memories for him. I never thought of it that way. Lenny Bruce said it was a good thing Christ was killed way back when, otherwise the symbol of Christianity might be the electric chair.
