Well, I think you must look at why. If it was part of the 1/10 of 1 % of the 1,395,000 abortion a year that fall into the rape, incest, category, If she can live with her decision, then so be it.

If it is for career, convenience, or any other self-motivated reason, then both she and the father should be sterilized. Then the problem will never occur again.

As for the DR. Any one who could do this is sick. To chop up a child, and kill it while it fights to live is sick. If you must keep the process legal, then that is all they should be permitted to do. The tax rate for this butchery should be 75% of the total fee. No other license for medicine should be honored. If they want to be in the killing business, then they have no part in the living business.

An abortion is a penalty in itself.

Ditto for the doctor.

The doctor should get Life and 10 years hard labor and the woman should have to watch films on how the fetus develops and have to see all the photos of aborted babies and be sterilized so she can Never get pregnant again.

No penalty legal wise. It's her body and her decision, not her government's. Getting an abortion is a hard decision and that's penalty enough.

Unless the abortion was to save her life, I think she and the doc should both be held accountable. I wouldn't want to get into the whole question of what their penalty should be; that's for wiser heads than mine to ponder.

A better question:
What should be the penalty for a man who impregnated a woman and refused to stick around???
A woman should have a right to an abortion.
Let us all hope abortion remains legal.
Let us also hope that deadbeat dads end up being prosecuted!!!!

I think they deal with enough without us nailing them to the cross.
She lives with enough penalty in her own mind

if it were illegal...the penalty would be capital murder (0 months to 6 years old). the sentence would be life with out parole or the death penalty.

that's in legal terms. IF it were illegal.

since its legal....it's her constitutional right to get one.
