I never used to like liver, up til I got married in 87, then my wife cooked some liver in gravy. From then on I have really liked it. My favourite is lambs liver smouthered in onions and mushrooms.

I like liver and onions, but, only after soaking the liver for a couple hours in salt water prior to cooking. It tones down the flavor a little. That trick also works with catfish.

I cannot stand liver normally but every once in a while I will eat chicken liver but only if it is made from KFC or some place that specializes in fried chicken....there is just something about the batter they fry them in makes them good.....I cannot eat them otherwise....my parents tried to get me to eat them when they fixed them at home and I would not.....
I guess I'm just weird like that....I hate beef liver patties in gravy one time when I was out of town. I had walked to the nearby restaurant that was close to my hotel and almost made it back to my room before I started getting sick and I had to run back to my room and into the bathroom to throw up.....that did it for liver...

yeah it ok but only occasionally
i like the liver to be baked instead of fried then boil a pan of onions and make the gravy in the pan with the onions and the same water so its a really onion gravy then pour the gravy over the liver then return it to the oven for 10mins

I do like liver
**baby beef liver - done with onions and herbs
** chicken liver, especially if made the old-fashioned Jewish way with chopped hard cooked eggs and sauted onions ... but I spoil all the Kosher aspect by liking it in a sandwich of Jewish seeded rye bread, with bacon and lettuce & tomato
** liverwurst - in sandwiches and sometimes as a snack with pickes and cheese

I love offal, i'm a chef and a week ago had to cook for 20 people my choice. i was brave and cooked liver they loved it after saying urrghhh! the art is too lightly flour and season then fry. Dont be cooking it in any gravy/sauce or it goes to mush and loses flavour. Dont over cook it either think of it as a nice med steak! Try it youll love it promice..

Deer liver, yummy. Very popular at this time of year too, aren't I the lucky one! Cooked very gently with onions and a bit of crispy bacon on the top and a lovely lemon butter over it all. Superb!!

I would say, no. But to be honest, apart from chicken liver pate, I haven't eaten it since I was at primary school. We used to get it once a week for school dinner, cooked for so long it was like trying to chew a piece of shoe leather.
That has put me off for life.
