The Medical Field (68 Series) has a lot of females as does Admin...I was in the Medical Services Corps (68W, 68J) for 13 years...it was good...in AIT at Ft Sam the females out numbered us like 4 to 1...lol

EDIT: So you will know being in a Unit with a lot of females is not what you think...I was a Combat Medic for the first three years I was in the Army...I was in an Infantry and a Combat (Heavy) Engineer Unit (all Male)...my first "Co-Ed" Unit was a Medical Logistics BN I went to after I re-classed...it wasn't that bad, but I ran into for the first time about so called Sexual Harassment...I was a young E-4 and I walked in to the warehouse one morning and was joking with my room mate...he said something and I told him, "To suck my d**k!"...I then hear this voice that sounded like someone running their fingernails over a chalkboard, "Come here SPC!" It was this really awful looking Female SFC...she told me I was sexually harassing her, I told her, "I didn't ask you to suck my d**k..." Needless to say I was in the 1SG office that afternoon...thank God that Top hated her and thought what I said was funny...and the next Co-Ed Unit I went to was a Combat Support Hospital...losts of gossip and crap...I like the all Male Units better...their are some nice looking women in the Army, but their are probably more "Sea Hags" and manly one's that good looking ones...I don't want to offend any Females, but that is my experience ...

The Air Force easily has the most females. The Marines have the least, and the Army and Navy are more or less on equal footing with their numbers, typically. As far as the Army goes, women are able to enlist in any job that is not a combat MOS--meaning they can't be infantry, cavalry, artillery, etc... or anything directly related in a combat sense. Any job that isn't combat is either combat support or combat support services. It's true that a lot of women opt for the medical corps, for example... but you'll find plenty of them in corps like signals, finance, intelligence, quartermaster, aviation, and plenty more besides. I do hope you're not trying to pick a speciality because you think it has more "chicks"... that's a really bad idea. Pick a job you want because you want it, and because it will help you later in life when you become a civilian again and start looking for a civilian job. The military isn't a dating service.

I highly recommend you dont go in for that reason. It sounds like you are liekly to have a quick EO complain if your woirried about the woman. Girls dont play in the military you piss of the wrong one your career is down the drain. Its better to stick with more males, less headaches. Girls are tough to work with in the military. When I was in the females I worked with were constantly trying to get some guy in trouble for the least little thing. its what makes the rest of the good females look bad. If you are female (you should change your avatar) but I still recommend staying away from females

If you want to work in that MOS then you are going into it for the wrong reasons. Besides, if you are in a field that has mostly women, you will be known as a f_a_g for working in that field.

This is a peculiar question. I am in Finance (44C), there is a good percentage of women but when it comes to hard manual labor details .. you probably gone wish you weren't in a female majority unit. You should join a tank unit because a little woman that shoots a big gun is my type of woman.

why on EARTH does that matter? if you are looking for some tail, don't bother. If you are some weirdo who doesn't think women can hold their own or should be in the military, don't bother.

It depends I guess.....
I'm a 68M nutrition care specialist. However if you want to join because of the women.... I think you need to re-evaluate your priorities.

Look towards medical fields and paper pushing office jobs.
