You are still required to yield. You may not want to, but if you hoestly think that you don't have to then you are a dumb driver.

Man I have issues with people on the road all the time. Not that specific example, but man some people just don't know how to drive. Like when you are on an interstate or something and you are on cruise control b/c you have a half hour drive or something and some people come up and pass you which is fine and then they slow down when they get in front of you and they do it repeatedly. Man that is the worst.

Of course not you don't yield because if you do you're going to get hit by the back driver when your trying to go into the freeway you put your signal light and speed it up you have the right of way!!!!

I usually speed on the access, so I'm moving faster than the rest of the traffic, that way I can be the one to slow down to merge. But I happen to be evil.

Call your DMV and get a driver's manual.
You need to learn the rules of the road.
3 times you ask this question with different details, yet the same story.
You won't find rules or laws here.
Get them from the real deal.
At least then you can say "I know".
Until then, you don't know how to drive.
And driving without knowing really is dumb.

yes!!!!!!
people who try to text while driving
women who try to put on makeup while driving
people who try to eat and drive
men who can't stop staring at women while driving
people who ride the brakes in the fast lane of the freeway
but when it comes to getting on the freeway...if you aren't up to speed you cound actually cause more problems.if the next person driving up behind you is going speed limit and your not ,you could get rear ended.

We don't have to yield, but it's just nice to scoot over a lane and let traffic on.

no yielding, you are supposed to build up enough speed so you can merge in safely.
