Theists are the people that get interviewed as they leave The People's Court, claiming that they won the case hands down, even though the majority of people in the courtroom, and the judge, and Harvey Levin, all agreed that they were wrong.
In the case of theists, the audience happens to consist mostly of members of their choir, so there are a large number of loud voices claiming victory, but they lose where it counts: with the judge.
The judge, is common sense and reason.
That's why the creationists lost in Dover and other places.

i'm not sure what "we're" suppose to be winning, but if you mean why does it seem that Christianity and religion in general is more popular than ever. Well, basically, in a nutshell, the masses (the followers, sheep, non-thinkers) NEED something to believe in, in order to be "good" ppl and accomplish their goals.
When we are children our parents are there to motivate us to accomplish our goals and to act appropriately. When we grow up and become adults now we are the motivators/leaders or our own lives and children...a lot of ppl have difficulty with this responsibility. So they look for a "parental" figure/mentor and guidance to show them the way. Hence, religion.
Atheism was huge in the 80's and 90's. And look what it accomplished...we have more violence among children and teenagers than ever. Adults going crazy and shooting up places...pedophiles, rapist etc. One could say that's b/c these ppl have no sense of responsibility nor do they have a sense of retaliation for their actions. if u believe that there's no consequences for actions besides a few years in jail then a lot of ppl do things that society deems as unacceptable.
This is why Christianity is regaining a large foothold again. B/C, basically, the masses/populous NEEDS the reassurance of an afterlife in order to be moral and humane being.

Atheism may be on the rise, but you will never win. The reason is simple, you are fighting against God Almighty!
Satan surely realizes that he has lost the war, but continues to fight the battle.
Some day, hopefully soon, my Lord Jesus will return. Not as a suffering Savior, like last time, but instead as a conquering King!
Yes, atheism and even Satan worship will continue to gain ground. The Bible predicts the rise of the "man of sin" (typically known as the AntiChrist) who will rise to power and demand to be worshipped as god. All those who refuse to worship him will suffer his wrath.
The Bible says of this man:
"And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming" (2 Thessalonians 2:8)
So, you see, Jesus will prevail, and will rule and reign forever.
In the end, God wins, Jesus wins, and those (Christian believers) that willingly follow Jesus win.
Even so, come Lord Jesus!

Well, quite.
Atheism tends draw from a negative response towards religion. It is not a case of "we believe that everything came from nothing or has always been", it is "we believe that the notion that everything came from a higher power - is wrong" Two very different things.
No matter how much you argue back things like evolution, people will always say, "well, where did that come from" e.g if people came from the same ancestor of apes, where did that ancestor come from. At the end of the day, you will have to say - "I don't know". Well at the simplest level of believing in God, that "I don't know" is called God.
Good question!

Because being right has nothign to do with convincing people.
People, especially when it comes to the very emotional issues related to religion, are so far from rational that they may aproach it from teh other side.
This has always struck me as the main weakness of the atheist debate tactics. The flying spaghetti monster and the teapot arguement are all appeals to logic, when logic is not the central issue.

Okay, this is what I think. It shouldn't be about winning or losing. Everyone should be entitled to their own belief. With that said no one should put anyone else down based on their beliefs but on the same note I don't want anyone else cramming their beliefs down my throat. Be happy with your beliefs and that should be that. Have a great day.I bet you will get a ton of answers.

As an Atheist....
I believe that I do NOT have to question my beliefs at all! I know EVERYTHING!
I hate your God and Jaysus! You are such intolerant people! You are so hateful! Now me...I am NOT hateful and I TOLERATE all beliefs...except yours!
No, I am NOT a hypocrite!
SHUT UP!
I KNOW there is no God and so that is why I am going to go attack Him!

Winning what?
Its not a war, battle, competition, or fight.
Just mind your own business and keep your thoughts and beliefs to yourself. That goes for atheists AND religious 'pushers'.
People trying to push their beliefs on others. That's exactly what you're doing (just like the bible pushers).
The problem isn't religion or the lack there of.....it's human nature. That is the problem.

Athiests will never win on the world stage because they have nothing to offer. Think about it, if Christians, Jews, Muslims, or any other religion is wrong, and God does not exist, that they have nothing to lose. If athiests are wrong, than they have quite an eventful eternity ahead of them.
