I've recently been sent several emails to that effect.

"[Perhaps Yahweh] DOES 'let' these things happen for a reason. For instance, this baby is in heaven right now, infinitely more happy than you or I. So, it could be said that good came from such a tragedy."

"...every action has a reason, and every situation, no matter how tragic, has a happy ending."

Do you agree with the perspective of this particular Christian?

The mother murders her baby out of her Free Will. She could choose to do good or evil, so she chose evil. And the baby is not currently in Heaven. The dead are "asleep" in the grave until Christ returns to resurrect them to life. They are not now either in Heaven or Hell, but will be. If the mother repents of her sin and turns to Christ, she will later be reunited with her baby. If not, the baby will go to Heaven alone, but will still be surrounded by people who love her/him.

I have no idea why God lets murder of children or abortion take place. I do not believe that it was in God's plan or in His will. Jesus said that if some one hurts a little one it would be better if a stone was hung around their neck and drowned. They will pay.

I dont know about Yahweh, but God doesnt want anyone to kill anyone ..... "Thou shalt not kill".......unfortunately, people make the wrong choices in life and some of those people are murderers.......we should pray for them.

I think I'd tell that particular Christian if he really believes that then why doesn't he have his mom put a pistol to his head and make him deleriously happy.

it is a part in the sense that God gave everyone free will
do you have it? how bout you?you have the free will to
do what you please right? heard a story bout a mother
posing as her daughter she e-mailed her daughter's friend,
whom she was upset with, and said a bunch of hurtful things
the end result was the friend killed herself do you think this is what God wanted or just a bad decision, free will,on the
mothers part?

It is one of the most disingenuous and saccharine responses I've ever heard to justify the "bad" that happens in the world.

"It's all part of God's plan."

What rubbish!

No, I don't understand really what your saying, but there are different denominations, and different sectors to different denominations, not all Christians believe the something, some sectors are completely different from others..
