I'd hope there's an RE-4 somewhere on your DD214 - - meaning you cannot reenlist.
But if you show an RE-3_, then if the problem that separated you from service is resolved... BUT YOU HAVE TO PROVE THIS... then you may be able to reenlist in another service or the Navy.

Cowards don't usually receive honorable discharges. Those are reserved for people who are honorable, you see.
If you threaten suicide and no other form of mental rehabilitation works--and it's a genuine problem, instead of a ploy--you get a medical discharge, either under general or honorable conditions. If you're shown to be malingering as an attempt to get out (feigning suicide or any other issue to get out of fulfilling your duties), that can earn you a bad-conduct discharge, which isn't any better than a dishonorable discharge).
If you're in the service and don't like it, fulfill your contract and get out. No one can make you enlist OR re-enlist. You have an obligation to uphold your oath and your end of a contract that you willfully signed. Fulfilling that oath and that contract is what constitutes being "honorable". Not fulfilling is "dishonorable". Not too hard to figure out.

You would not get an honorable, you would get a general or a medical. You would also be flagged as to prevent further service in any capacity, to include the Guard or Reserves.

a lot of it depends on what they put on your DD-214.
A guy I tried to put in had that on his DD-214 from his Navy days and our people that look at doctor's comments on past situations frown greatly upon past suicide or mental problems.
It is possible, though, based upon what the RE code is.

NO,your time in service would be shown in your DD-214 and there is a code on your DD-214 where they would see how you got out............The word is HONORABLE!

No, you would have also received a bar to re-enlistment, thank you for asking though.
