has anyone bought this particular camera and if you have tell me what you think of it. i have a digimax s800 but would like to sell it and my olympus is30 dlx slr with telephoto lens and uv lens and bag in order to get this samsung digimax i85.

It looks like a decent camera with lots of extra functions that are "cool" but they won't mean much in a few months because someone else will have more/better features. Seems like it will take good quality, but not stellar pictures.

Not a bad camera. However, IMO, if your budget permits the Canon G9 would be far superior.
