Seriously if you're not going to be with a guy who has some porn then you might as well become a nun right now!
It probably all harmless - it's you he loves, he wouldn't have stayed with you for 6 months if he didn't.
I think you should probably talk to him about this. If your objections are based on insecurity (which is perfectly understandable) then you need to look at yourself and how you can best get some more self esteem - and what your boyfriend can do to help you with that.
If your objections are moral, then I think there's a compatibility issue in your relationship.

Unless he's obsessed with watching the porn or reading the Playboys, there's nothing wrong with him having it. If it makes you uncomfortable, let him know and ask him to keep it put away while you are around. It's a harmless thing, unless he would rather watch/read it than spend time with you.
If you ask him to throw it away, he may dump you instead. If you think porn is morally wrong, you may be with the wrong man.

Appropriate?? Hmmmm, seems to me if you want to change your boyfriend, you need to find a new one. It's WRONG to try to change people, find someone that is more suited to you from the beginning rather than getting a 'fixer-upper'. Poor guy.

NO!!!!!!!! not the porn.
That's a lot of money and entertainment out the window. It's only fair if you do, that you do all the things that the women are doing in the movies to make up for it, if not, just let him keep it.

No, its not appropriate. Tell him that it bothers you, and he should be considerate enough to keep it away from you. Don't ask him to choose between you and his porn!

After 6 months? Is this some kind of turning point? And yes, it is inappropriate. Men have porn, women have gossip. (Or whatever.) Do what I did - subscribe to Playgirl and enjoy life with him.
Cheers.

Why would you? If you find it offensive, ask him to keep it put away from you. If morally you think he is doing something wrong, you guys may not be suited to each other.

It's appropriate to throw out the boyfriend if he's involved in pervert stuff like that.

no, but you should mention it makes you feel uncomfortable. you need to come to some type of middle ground...but don't make it seem as you are forcing him. Guys do not appreciate that.
