They believe in sola scriptura. Pretty much they are there own personal Popes.

A quick look at history would show them the early Church has Bishops, Priest, and Deacons.

As well as belief in the Dogmas of Catholicism and the Orthodox churches the two Christian denoms who are actually 2000 years old.

"Non-denominational" is just another way of saying "we accept no authority other than the Bible". Such congregations could be collectively called the Church of Sola Scriptura, but then that would be too much like an organized denomination. In practice, non-denoms *are* often counted as a single denomination for statistical purposes ... so the distinction is rather moot, except to the members.

The Church was designed by Jesus to be an actual human organization with leaders, offices, and membership requirements—in short, "organized religion." Jesus knew that the Church would need a strong organization to fulfull its work of protecting the Gospel from sham substitutes and providing the sacraments for the nourishment of God's people.

Jesus said to go to the Church as the final authority in Christianity. "If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector." (Matthew 18:17). Jesus would hardly direct us to the Church to settle disputes if it were not an actual, identifiable organization.

Is there to be only one Church or many? According to Scripture, Jesus wanted us to be one (John 17:22-23). St. Paul ruled out alternative churches: "There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all" (Ephesians 4:3-6).

Even in New Testament times, there were "offices" and a hierarchy among Christians, i.e., "organized religion." The office of apostle passes on to worthy successors selected by past apostles (Acts 1:20-26). The offices of bishop, priest (presbyter) and deacon are mentioned in Scripture (1 Timothy 3:1, 8; Titus 1:7). The Church as actual organization would be unworkable if any believer could lay claim to be a bishop, priest, deacon or apostle.

Jesus promised that the gates of hell will not prevail against his Church (Matthew 16:18), thus safeguarding the Church against serious error. The Church acting as a whole is guided by the Holy Spirit, as Jesus promised. Accordingly, St. Paul calls the Church "the pillar and foundation of the truth" (1 Timothy 3:15). As the pillar of truth, the Church alone is authorized to discern the truth and interpret Scripture.

Individuals (or nondenominational rival organizations) often misinterpret Scripture because they do not have historical continuity with the original apostles. Rival organizations don't have the Sacred Tradition the Church gained from the apprenticeship of Jesus with his apostles, who became the leaders of the Church. Thus, other Christian organizations must rely on the incomplete and often ambiguous words of scripture (see John 21:25).

What the scripture actually encourages is that we endeavor to keep the unity in the bond of peace. However, we are to also contend for the faith once delivered and to make truth our most important goal.
The following is some reasons why non-denominatioal people do not follow denominations;
There are errors in their doctrine.
The church leadership is not organized as scripture dictates.
They do not believe in the power of God.
They believe that the prophetic word died with the initial 12 Apostles.
Etc.....

This doesn't mean we do not claim them as our brethren in Christ, as scripture says to let our brethren who error know that they error and separating ourselves from them is our way of telling them that.

Christ is not about religion but about relationship. We should not bicker among ourselves. The church should be of one mind and one accord. If we get over ourselves and the differences between all these different denominations...and come together in unity...we could change things...It is denominationalism itself that divides Gods people. And a house divided cannot stand.

Maybe they have been members of a religion, seen what has been swept up under the rug and left, i would say that the disorganize are a part of religion, look at the money, millions that the leaders have and living in homes that cost millions, look at the pedophile abuse of many in religion, would you call this crimes organize. followers of Jesus Christ do not hide criminals. Remember to give unto Cesar what is Cesar's, but give unto god what is Gods.

i think of atheists/agnostic might see any form of Christianity as "prepared," and probable the different faith too. How ought to or no longer this is in any different case?? via defintion faith is having some shared perception, "shared" meaning that's observed via extra suitable than one man or woman. prepared faith isn't something extra suitable than a team of people who have faith in particular concepts/policies in terms of the supernatural. whether this is 10 policies or 1000, this is nonetheless prepared faith. whether you basically examine your Bible privately at abode or you're a magnificent Vatican first rate, you're an area of "prepared faith." Sorry. as quickly as a faith reaches a definite inhabitants length, it may no longer sustain itself only via telling everybody to easily "be sturdy." How do you are attempting this w/o a minimal of slightly preparation? If the non secular are incredibly fascinated in keeping their code of ideals, they are going to ought to write it down and make valuable everybody of their team is generally used with what those ideals are. in any different case this is not long till ultimately the religion is rather a mix of a dozen religions, of people each and each doing their very own own ingredient. i'm no longer asserting it rather is inevitably undesirable in itself, yet as quickly as this occurs you no longer have one faith anymore, and that's my element. those so-referred to as grass roots Christians who spurn the mainline denominations are blissfully blind to the shown fact that the only reason we've a single Bible and a few middle strategies in Christianity is by means of the fact the early Church observed to it that particular strategies have been preserved and others deemed as heresy. for no less than a hundred yrs after Christ, Christian became into basically a sect of Judaism. In early Christianity, you had a lot of people merchandising all forms of their own strategies approximately Jesus, God, etc. You had suppressed gospels and all this. If no longer for "prepared faith," Christianity might have collapsed below the load of all this confusion.

Generalizations abound.

I find organized religion often fails to address the needs of the congregation in teaching and demonstrating the Word. Obviously those non Christ centered religions are not considered to be true religion by my beliefs.

The Body of Christ is ONE and they cover over many various denominations and they do not bicker with one another over debatable issues as instructed by the Apostle Paul.

Hope that helps.

The Bride of the Messiah will be one. Believers, who accept the marriage covenant, are called by the name of YHVH, and follow His rules..... I cannot find a "denomination" that comes close.

We don't frown on organized religion. Instead, we believe that 1) Jesus taught AGAINST denominational divisions; and 2) humans are prone to teaching dogma as if it's a teaching of God. Because there is no correct denomination, it's best to simply follow the Bible in the best manner possible.

We still attend church regularly, etc.
