Hear the opinions of your fellow R&Sers or give your opinion?

*Would you rather ask or answer questions?*

Personally, I prefer to answer I'd just like to know what you would rather do?

I would rather answer questions.

Unfortunately, asking questions often leads me to the conclusion that humans are getting dumber. (Sometimes I risk reading other people's answers and that's no good either.)

(This is all based on the majority. For every intelligent answer I see there are two or three stupid ones. And no, I do not mean sarcastic or humorous answers, (humor is often the highest form of intelligence displayed) I mean unfounded/misguided/idiotic answers.)

I like both. I will admit that I love to give my opinion to people. But I also like asking questions to see what other people think.

One thing to note about YA, though, is that when I ask questions..... 90% of the answers I get either miss the point of the question or give some kind of answer that doesn't really say anything... or they give some kind of smartass response in which they criticize some minor, irrelevant detail of my question rather than giving an actual answer. So with this in mind, I might consider answering question to be more enjoyable because then I don't get disappointed like when I ask questions.

I prefer to answer. There is not much that I need answers to, but when I ask it is generally not for an opinion but for a concrete answer, like when I was looking for the name of a specific Celtic Rock band, people cam thru for me.
In my answers there are certain topic that I am extremely well versed in, not particularly R & S, those answers are generally opinions and experience. But I do have considerable knowledge about certain health issues and like to help when I can.
I do not answer questions just for the heck of it and do not interject my beliefs when they are not asked for (unlike so many Christians who feel they must answer non-Christian questions with consternation).

I tend to answer more questions than I ask. But it's nice to know that if I need information about a subject, I can always come here and see what people have to say.

I've gotten help on a lot of different things, so I'm grateful for that. And I love to help other people whenever possible, so that works out well here, too.

I would rather ask a question... I prefer learning.

However, I don't think there is a point to asking questions on here as you will not get constructive answers, can't carry on a debate, and it is just a race to see who can get the first few answers on any one topic.

I would rather answer. I like to share my opinions and personal experiences. If I can be of some help to someone than I have done something good.

I prefer to answer, but many times I have had to ask questions. Sometimes I wonder why, because seems no one ever answers the question at hand.

I'd rather answer because of the point system and because I have more answers than questions.

Answer.
Mainly because of that damned reward system.
I hold on to all my points until I have a question that google won't yield any answers to. Then I begrudgingly ask a question.

I prefer to answer. Most anything I could think of to ask has already been asked.
