Sometimes God sends people into our lives to reach us. We may never go to church ,so how will we learn the true word. ? There are several gifts given in the Bible. This preacher must have the gift of knowledge and wisdom. Read 1st Corinthians 12 and you will understand the gifts. I'd say your tree trimmer is a Penecostal. If so, then you are the good hands and great prayer wariors are there for you. I will agree with the tree trimmer in faith, All you can do is show your son you have changed, try very hard NOT to get upset with him. Just say ' I'm sorry that i've hurt you in any way. I was s different person then and I'm not that person anymore.. I know my mistakes and I'm changing them. Will you bear with me?" Pray, pray and pray that his attitude will change. It's not only hurting you but him also. Maybe he's afraid you haven't changed or else go back to how you were. He must have really had emotional problems over this. He really should have some counseling too. My younger son is the same, but, over his dad that he just lost. Now he can't resolve the problem with him. No one can reach him but God. If he would just turn it over to God he could be so much happier. Best of lluck. My prayers are with you.

The fact that you are getting a feeling about it means something. I would listen to that. More than once I have seen a true hearted Christian with strong intuitive ability. Who has a strong link to God where God will put it into their heart to approach and say or do something.
It happened to me on two occasions. Once I was so depressed I just sat on a park bench, feeling like I had no one. Then my cell phone rings and it is a total stranger. This Christian lady, the wife of this guy I had been talking to earlier about his church. She said hey if there is anything you want to talk about, doesn't have to be about God. I just opened up to her and talking to her was like a warm embrace in the cold. At the end she asked my permission to say a prayer. She said she had never in her life had the idea to just call up a total stranger.
Another time this Christian guy where I work comes right up to me while I was fighting with my boyfriend. Just saying some comforting things (he didn't know what was going on) So I told him, and that included things I could not tell a non-spiritual person. He prayed for me and his energy totally helped me with the situation.
If the Christian is pure and true, chances are they have a strong link to God and God talks to them in whatever way works best for them. We really need to thank the good Christians that ARE out there.
God Bless.

Be suspicious!
He does *not* know these things about you because "God" told him.
Either you unwittingly gave him information without realizing it, (fraudulant psychics and other types of con men are known for being able to get unbelievable amounts of information out of people without the people even realizing it) or he's been doing some research on you. (Talking to people.)
He sounds like a potential con man...whatever you do, do NOT give him any money or personal information other than what you pay him for the tree work that he does.

strange but true, it's one of those things that sometimes can't be explained, what ever your healed by some means and it worked. You are now clean of the things that haunted you, Most of all you are honest enough to admit your short comings and it came from the heart, remember Jesus said that the kingdom of God is with in you, you did it with a higher power.

I believe that angels watch everything you do and record them; God knows everything you do and everything that has happened to you. If God has revealed something to this tree-cutter about you, maybe you should listen to his advice. It's unfortunate that your son is allowing pride to get in the way of healing his relationship with you. Even if he doesn't forgive you, you should forgive him for his behavior. Then God will see and He will forgive you for YOUR sins as well.

I think the guy has a screw loose, and you shouldn't take anything he says as truth. Keep seeing your therapist and tell the preacher to stick to pruning your trees.

The Holy Spirit was leading him in prayer about you and gave him knowledge and wisdom about what to pray for so that you would know that God is watching over you and knows your life.
A similar thing happened to me just yesterday. My third service in a new church, and the pastor's wife came over and said that she felt led to pray for me. In the prayer, she said that she knew that God had a specific purpose for my life and has a great plan for me. She asked God to open the right doors and bar the wrong ones in my life. She also asked that problems in my relationships with family and friends be resolved through God. She prayed for my future husband and asked that I be given wisdom to know for sure who he is.
I had previously only spoken to this women to introduce myself. She had no way of knowing that I had just changed my major in college and was seaking confirmation, that my parents were on the verge of divorce and needed Jesus, and my boyfriend and I have ben discussing marriage. It was the Holy Spirit telling her what to pray for.

There are times when God speaks to us, but we refuse to listen. Sometimes he has to send somebody to us so we can get the message plain and clear.

Everyone has something in their past that they're not proud of, and everyone has hurt someone else.
Look up a phenomenon called 'cold reading'.
