Some of it might happen to the Americas, but I think it's referring to 1/3 of the world's population. This could happen all over the world.

Maybe. We'll have to wait and see. Are there two billion people on this side of the globe? America has 300 million. South America has 371 million. Central America has 40 million. And Canada has 33,391,141 million. That doesn't even reach 1 billion so I think that the 1/3 is world wide.

I think that 1/3 of the world will be destroyed as in not livable. It says a 3rd of the world will be destroyed by fire. While a 3rd of the population my go along with it. I do think though that America will be part of that which is destroyed.

Yes it could. I don't think the USA will be part of it, but I could be wrong. The USA is represented as the Eagle in the Bible, it's feathers are plucked BUT the heart of a man will be given to it, Meaning Jesus is the man. Our country will turn back to Jesus. (But, part of it being lost to fire may be the turning point. I don't worry about it. No one knows the times or places except God himself. I don't need to worry.)

It is my understanding that YHVH will protect His people. Thus the plague will not wipe out a large physical entity (Like the USA) but will rather affect many people worldwide. The Americas certainly will feel the effects.

One of my Theology Prof's once told me don't always take the world view in prophecy....
But focus on what God might focus on...and that is Israel or at least that region...
He did make a pretty good point....

I believe it will, if i remember correctly somewhere in the bible it mentions eagle, bear and dragon will collide.
Key word Eagle.

It will happen where God commands lets respect Him enough as not to be guessing about the end of the world, cause only He knows the time
