I would listen to God. If i was hallucinating, it wouldn't matter anyway.
all i've asked of god since square 1 is for him to appear to me. i'd think, 'better late than never.' and listen to him.

Well it depends on how i see this god. If its exactly the god i was told about when i was young i would probably take it as a dream/hallucination. If its something so awesome and not somthing i would expect but still made sence and made me feel good in my hour of death i might take it as the real thing, and if its not, than atleast i died with some hope for the future.
I really dont know what "god" is, but im pretty damn sure i know what it isnt.

I'd probably think it was a hallucination as if god existed, he would know that I would have a few questions, and would feel very immoral about converting while dieing.
Of course there is also the lack of evidence for any god now, so that would lend to the thought that it was a hallucination.

If god actually proved himself that would be what every atheist I personally have ever met has been asking for before believing.
I've never met an atheist who hasn't said they would believe if god actually presented evidence.
"or just think you were hallucinating being that close to death"
This part of your question puzzles me. It's similar to the old tired saw "... no amount of evidence would convince the non-believer."
Theists don't seem to realize that in this statement they're actually denying and defying god. Because they're declaring that either god isn't powerful enough to prove himself to everyone or he doesn't know how.
If it were truly god I wouldn't be able to say I'm just hallucinating because he would know what would 100% convince me and would be able to do so. If you're able to doubt god's proof then does it really come from god?

If a god appeared to me than I'd have proof that it existed. Keep in mind that the circumstances of my death would have to play a role. I mean how can I believe something is real if I've been sedated or if I'm in excruciating pain or under duress of some sort or another.

Which one? Good ol' jahve? Or one of the good ones, Ganesha maybe? And how would he/she appear as?
If it was Zeus or Odin, I'd go the pascal way, safe bet on the death bed. If neither of those, I'd elect to treat it as a hallucination.

All that you said above is hypothetical. I don't believe it'll happen. But for the sake of argument, let's say it will. I'll tell God "take me to heaven dude".

I'd tell you what my answer would be if I was dying. However, since I'm not, all I can say is I believe nothing happens just when I'm about to croak. There's no bright light, no dude to pop out, nothing. I just die and that's it.

So, you think god is an "IT"? God "showed itself" to me? If that happened to me I'd say, OK...show me heaven first and then I'll let you know.
