Can you join the army if you only have one testicle? This really is a legitiment question. My "baby" brother wants to join the Coast Guard and i'm trying to convince him to join the Army. However he has the problem mentioned above. Can he join??? Thanks for the help!

I don't see why he would have any trouble joining either. Having only one testicle is not really a "health problem" and would not limit his ability to perform his duty (I am trying very hard not to chuckle as I write this line) or be deployed.

I don't see why not. I know people who have had a testicle removed and still were able to serve without problems. As long as there is no continuous care that he needs. Have him speak to a recruiter.

Yes, as long as he is able to perform as other soldiers would and this defect does not interfere in any way.

based on the merit of this one question only:
he is disqualified until he can provide medical documentation demonstrating he has no further problems with it. we call it a waiver.

one of the LT's in my company has only one testicle and he is in. So i would say no. good luck to him

He may join, but risks being called Uniball for the duration of his enlistment.

you don't pull a trigger with your testicles.

Why would you want him to go into the Army now?
Coast Guard would be a better gig or the Air force.
